More of my life than not, I've embraced a vegetarian and even, at times, vegan lifestyle.  My reasons for this choice have been ethical.  I love animals and have struggled a lot with accepting that they have to surrender their lives for my culinary satisfaction.  Especially since there are so many plant based options.

Currently, I'm off the wagon and have been eating meat - mostly chicken - thinking that adding animal protein into my diet would boost my energy level.  Of course, it's a lot easier eating meat when you share your life with a carnivore.

That said, after having a few conversations with a few different people, I'm ready to come back to my truth.  I like how I feel inside and out not eating the animals.  

The recipes I share on this blog are mostly vegan with some vegetarian thrown in here and there.  They are here because they are my faves and it's an easy way for me to access them.  Perhaps you will enjoy them too and might even be willing to share some of yours with me.  Us foodies are always looking for more fun and exciting ways to make our grub more delight our senses!
