On the Mat

I currently teach at Zen Life Yoga in Queen Creek, Arizona.  My schedule is as follows:

Sunday 5:30-7:00 pm Weekend Wind Down featuring a series of restorative poses geared to relax and prepare the body and mind for the forthcoming week

Monday 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Prenatal Yoga.  This class is open to all women but will be languaged and sequenced to help support and prepare our expecting mammas for pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood.  

Monday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Mommy and Me Yoga (aka Postnatal).  This class is open to all moms and their non-crawling babes.  A practice is offered to support mom in her new role.  There will also be some time dedicated to interacting with baby.  Moms are welcome to feed their babes during class.

Monday 12:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Restore and Rejuvenate.  A restorative practice to help renew the body, mind and spirit.  This is a quiet non-active practice.

Wednesday 9:45 - 11:00 a.m. Curvy Yoga offers a body positive space for people of all shapes and sizes.  Many people are intimidated to try yoga, especially if their body doesn't fit the media representations of yoga, so this class is designed to let those people know that this is a safe and welcoming place to try yoga.  This is a gentle class and all BODIES are welcome.
